Faithfull is made by Marvin Galvez. This policy explains what information the app collects, what it does with it, and what it does not do. It is written in plain language on purpose.
What we collect
Your email address and password. These are used to create your account and sign you in. Nothing else is asked for at signup — no name, no phone number, no date of birth.
Your habit and tracker data. The habits you track, the days you mark them complete, the trackers you create, and your streak history.
Your device's timezone. Stored once, so daily limits and streaks reset at midnight where you actually are.
A daily count of how many questions you've asked. A number only — see below.
What we do not collect
We do not store the questions you ask. When you use the Ask feature, your question is sent to Anthropic's Claude API, an answer comes back, and the question is not saved to our database, our logs, or anywhere else. We keep only a count of how many times you asked that day, so the daily limit works. Nobody — including us — can go back and read what you asked.
We do not use analytics or tracking. There is no analytics service, no crash reporting service, and no advertising in this app. We do not track your behavior, build a profile of you, or share anything with advertisers.
We do not sell your data. Not to anyone, for any reason.
Who else sees your information
Supabase hosts our database and handles account sign-in. Your email and your habit and tracker data are stored on their servers. Their privacy policy is at supabase.com/privacy.
Anthropic receives the text of your question when you use the Ask feature, so it can generate an answer. Your question is sent without your name, email, or account ID attached. Their privacy policy is at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
The Bible API (bible.helloao.org, which serves the public-domain Berean Standard Bible) receives only the Bible reference chosen for your answer, such as "John 3:16." It never receives your question or anything identifying you.
That is the complete list.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from within the app. When you do, everything is removed: your habits, your habit log, your trackers, your streaks, your timezone setting, your ask count, and your account itself. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
Young people using Faithfull
Faithfull is written with teenagers in mind. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us at the email below and we will delete it.
Because we do not ask for a date of birth, we cannot verify anyone's age. We keep collection to the minimum — an email address and the habits you choose to track — partly for this reason.
Security
Passwords are hashed and never stored in readable form. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we collect as little as possible so there is as little as possible to lose.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated. Significant changes will be noted in the app.
